Explore rocks and minerals and
how we use them in our lives. Become a
geologist, handle minerals,
try rock experiments like floating rocks, writing with
rocks and looking at rocks
under a black light.
Story hour will be held on
the following Thursdays from 10:30 ~ 11:30.

For preschool to grade five.
You will receive a log book to
record the titles of age appropriate books you choose to read.
Prizes: 3 books ~ a pencil and
6 books ~ a rock or gem
9 books ~ a small musical
12 books ~ a Gifford's free
Rock and Roll to the
This program is for
teenagers. Teens are invited to make a contract with the
librarian to read 3 to 5
books of their choice between June 20th, and August 21st, 2018.
When they complete their
contract they will receive a movie pass.
Get in the grove with books
Adults are encouraged to put
their name in for a drawing of assorted prizes.
The drawing will be held on
August 21st. 2018
You may put your name in the
bucket every time you complete a book!
Concert on the lawn on August
21st. 2018 Followed by a chance to make
your own ice cream sundae
and the drawings for the adult readers.
